Nepal's foreign trade volume increased by 14.75 percent in the first ten months of FY 2025/26, reaching approximately Rs 1.941 trillion. Imports dominated at Rs 1.692 trillion against exports of Rs 248.96 billion, resulting in a trade deficit of Rs 1.443 trillion. India remains Nepal's largest trading partner, accounting for 57.6 percent of imports and 82 percent of exports. Customs revenue collected during this period was Rs 414.08 billion.
