Mechi-Mahakali national rescue drive: 120 rescued from streets

A charity, Manavsewa Ashram, has rescued two street persons from Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur during its Mechi-Mahakali National Rescue Journey. The rescued individuals were taken to the Dhangadhi-based Manavsewa Ashram, bringing the total number of people taken to safety during the campaign to 120. The campaign, launched on May 11 from Mechi of Jhapa, aims to make Nepal a 'street people free country'.
