Shadananda Municipality in Bhojpur district has established a seeds bank to preserve and promote indigenous agricultural seeds. The initiative aims to provide farmers with quality native seeds, revive endangered crop varieties, and protect agricultural biodiversity. Seeds of various local crops have been collected and stored, with farmers having access to the store on a 50% subsidy. Training on seed selection, conservation, and promotion techniques is also being implemented.
