DDC Pays Rs 12 Crore to Milk Farmers

The Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) has paid Rs 12 crore to milk farmers, settling a portion of the approximately Rs 58 crore owed over the last four months. Following a reform action plan, the DDC is now paying Rs 1 crore daily to farmers. The private sector dairy industries owe Rs 3 billion, while the DDC has Rs 46 crore in outstanding payments to farmers.
