The District Police Office, Banke, registered 205 cases of various crimes in the district during the month of Baisakh, including 10 heinous crimes, 61 serious offenses, and 134 general crimes. Police arrested 11 individuals in connection with nine incidents involving women, children, and senior citizens, and 34 cases related to economic offenses. Additionally, 187 people were arrested under the campaign to apprehend absconding defendants, and 76 absconding convicts were arrested, collectively serving jail sentences totaling over 10 years.
