Over 2,300 absconding defendants arrested in Baisakh

Police teams arrested 2,319 absconding defendants involved in various criminal cases across the country during the month of Baisakh. The arrested individuals were sentenced to a total of 825 years, two months, and 25 days of imprisonment, and authorities recovered fines amounting to Rs 215.369 million from them. Nepal Police has been conducting a nationwide campaign targeting fugitives convicted in serious crimes.
