Weather Forecast: Rain and Heatwaves Expected in Parts of Nepal

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology stated that westerly wind, local wind, and a low-pressure area are influencing Nepal. Currently, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces' hilly and high hilly areas have cloudy skies, with moderate rain and thunderstorms occurring in some places. This afternoon, similar conditions are expected, with the possibility of rain and thunderstorms in several provinces, and heatwaves anticipated in Sudurpashchim Province.
