Election related two bills passed
Two election-related bills, the 'House of Representatives Members Election (First Amendment) Bill, 2083' and the 'Voter Name List (First Amendment) Bill, 2083', have been unanimously passed by the House of Representatives. Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Sobita Gautam, presented the bills on behalf of the Prime Minister. These bills replace ordinances previously introduced for the March 5 HoR election, with discussions including calls for greater participation of people with disabilities in the proportional representation system.
