Govt doubles nurses’ night allowance

The government has doubled the night-shift allowances for nurses working in public health facilities to boost morale and improve their welfare. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle announced this during the budget presentation. The government is also upgrading burn treatment services at Bir Hospital and Kirtipur Hospital to enhance emergency response and specialized care for burn patients.
