Petroleum imports through Birgunj border rise 16.35% in 10 months

Nepal imported petroleum products worth Rs 181.70 billion through the Birgunj customs point in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year, an increase of 16.35 percent compared to the previous year. The government collected Rs 67.19 billion in revenue from these imports. While diesel and petrol imports rose, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports saw a decline.
