Fire Incidents Across Nepal Cause One Death, Two Injuries, and Significant Property Damage

In the past 24 hours, Nepal has experienced 11 fire incidents across various districts, resulting in one fatality and two injuries, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority. Property damage is estimated at Rs 7.79 million, with a significant portion attributed to a truck fire in Bara.

A two-year-old girl died in a fire incident in Mangalsen, Achham.
Injuries were reported due to a gas leakage fire at a food establishment in Tinchuli, Kathmandu, and a grocery shop fire in Githepani, Dang.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority reported a total of 18 disaster incidents, including fires, in the last 24 hours, leading to three deaths and five injuries overall.
A truck fire caused by a short circuit in Jitpur, Bara, alone resulted in an estimated Rs 7 million in property loss.
