Lawmakers highlighted the need to increase investment in domestic raw material production and address delays in project completion, which lead to compensation costs for the state. The committee also noted the slow progress on the handover of a border-connecting bridge in Hilsa and the need for coordination regarding the Hilsa–Simkot road.
