The state-owned Dairy Development Corporation (DDC) is paying dairy farmers Rs 10 million daily as part of a reforms action plan by Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment Geeta Chaudhary. Of the Rs 580 million in outstanding liabilities from the past four months, Rs 120 million has been paid, with plans to clear one month's dues by June. Daily transactions of Rs 10 million are being made to farmers, and the remaining Rs 460 million will be paid in installments over two months.
