Nepal records 124 drunk driving accidents in a month, leaving 12 dead

The Nepal Police reported 124 road accidents linked to driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances between mid-April and mid-May, resulting in 12 deaths and 174 injuries. The Kathmandu Valley recorded the highest number of incidents with 37 accidents, while Koshi Province followed with 35. Other provinces also reported significant numbers of accidents and injuries, with varying fatality rates.
