Traffic police begin crackdown on speeding drivers in Chitwan

Traffic police have started taking action against drivers found speeding on highways in Chitwan. The Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office in Ramnagar, Chitwan, has begun using a LiDAR speed gun on the Narayangadh–Muglin road section to reduce road accidents. Office chief Dillinarayan Pandey said action was taken against more than 60 drivers on the first day for driving above the permitted speed limit.
