Six years after their handover, a hall and cafeteria built in the Republic Monument area within the Narayanhiti Palace Museum Development Committee premises remain unoperational. Constructed at a cost of Rs 44 crore 91 lakh 53 thousand, the Auditor General's 63rd report has directed that these facilities be brought into operation. The area also includes underground parking, a martyr's pillar, and other installations.
